PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE TO ALL INTERESTED CITIZENS OF CITY OF AUXIER, KENTUCKY:
Frontier Housing, Inc. is applying for 2022 Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding for the acquisition and site work of 5.83 acres at 106 John CC Mayo Ave Auxier, as well as the development of 16 duplexes (32 units). The Kentucky Department for Local Government is accepting application material under the CDBG-DR Program. Frontier Housing, Inc. intends to apply for funds to provide housing development and assistance in response to the 2022 flooding in Floyd County. Frontier Housing, Inc. will hold a public hearing for the housing program prior to the submission of the required application forms. The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public comment and obtain views on the housing and community development needs and review the proposed activities and CBDG-DR application.
