Frontier Housing is seeking a Human Resources & Compliance Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements and funder agreements.
Goals for the first 12 months:
- Be knowledgeable of Frontier’s mission and have a thorough understanding of all existing policies and procedures; review for any needed improvements
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding in collaboration with department directors
- Develop training materials and performance management programs
- Obtain SHRM certification
- Create and maintain a calendar of reporting requirements for all funding agreements
A successful candidate will likely have:
- Proven work experience in Human Resources
- Be people oriented and results driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to hold others accountable for reporting and compliance deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, including people of varying economic means; and
- Knowledge of, and an affinity for, Frontier’s mission.
The Human Resources & Compliance Manager will be based in Morehead, KY and report to the Director of Finance. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position that is exempt. Frontier offers a competitive pay and benefits package, including a cell phone allowance, based on experience.
