The Weatherization Assistance Program can provide free energy savings improvements to income eligible households.

We check for airtightness, insulation, refrigerator, water heater, HVAC system, and gas appliances

Households that are at or below 200% of the poverty line.

Breathitt, Owsley, Lee, and Wolfe County.

The Weatherization Program can perform the following: Insulation in the entire house, air sealing throughout the home, install smoke alarms, CO detectors, and energy-saving light bulbs; vent and/or wrap hot water heater & pipes, vent dryer, checking readings of appliances.

Weatherization Cannot Perform the Following:

Roof replacement, building a ramp, bathroom modification, cosmetic/maintenance work, mold remediation. However, Frontier has other funding available to repair homes before weatherizing.
